The Big Obstacles Bloggers Face
Being a blogger can be very rewarding. However, there are some problems that bloggers have to manage. What’s important, is that you are on top of them. The result of being on top of the issues is that you can minimize their impact. The output is that you will become a far better blogger.
The top three issues that bloggers have to manage are:
Overwork, Doing the same thing as others, Inability to focus.
Let’s see if we can sort these out!
The top problem for bloggers is overwork. First, when you began blogging, you likely had a lot of enthusiasm. You had a goal to achieve and were going make this happen. It is also common for people to thing that the money was going to be rolling in quickly. Yet, it didn’t take long before you came to realize this was going to be an endeavor where you’re writing about the same things over and over. Then, you may realize this is going to take a little longer than you thought, before you saw a good income.
It’s fine to feel frustrated! You should know, however, that these feelings are what can make or break you as a blogger. If you give up, you’ll never know what it’s like to be a successful blogger pulling in great money. If you persevere past this frustration you can be extremely successful! The majority of bloggers give up, so make sure that doesn’t happen to you.
The next most common problem is sameness. This simply refers to the fact that it can be hard for bloggers to find their exact “niche.” Sure, you know what your blog will be about — you might even have it very targeted. That doesn’t mean your blog will stand out from the crowd!
So that you can get a strong fan base, you must do something that will put you ahead of others. You could run give-aways, write in a unique “tone” that includes a sense of humor or other kinds good penmanship, or just do something that is crazy and totally different – usually this endears many readers.
The final issue that bloggers have to deal with is that of losing focus. We have talked about how hard it is to keep on keeping on as they say, in the early days of your blog. And this challenge often leads to no ability to stay on task. Let’s say that you started doing well writing about computers, but then you got bored and started writing about cat grooming.
Don’t quit and don’t stop blogging. Understand that there are going to be times where you don’t feel like going through with this, but you have to because you need to keep that momentum up. And bouncing around on all kinds of subjects is only doing to delay your success.
There are other issues bloggers have to deal with too. The thing that separates people who succeed and those who don’t is how well they can stay on the goal. If you are committed to creating enough cash flow to quit your day job, as an example, then you must now these issues exist and come up with a strategy to deal with them permanently.
Never lose sight of the fact that blogging is an awesome way to make a living, but you will need to be firm with yourself if you want to succeed.
