How To View And Download Movies
With new and old movies popping up all over the internet and all the software sharing programs, the question is; which is better? Downloaded or streaming movies. Both types of files have their perks and downfalls. It is important to examine them before you decide to sit down and watch your internet flick.
Downloadable movies are great in many ways. One perk is that when you download the movie it will stay on your hard drive until you are ready to delete it. At anytime, you can go to your files and begin the movie or pick up where you left off.
One plus to downloading would be the ability to burn the movie file onto a blank CDR and watch it on right on your television. There are many DVD players that play burnt discs and many that do not. It is worth looking into because it is nice to watch movies on your computer but it is nicer to watch them on your TV.
There are many problems you can encounter with downloading movies. A downloaded movie can take up significant space on your hard drive. It would be in your best interest to keep your library small because it might slow the speed of your computer.
To find a good conversion program, go to the internet and do a search. I personally use the program Total Movie Converter 2.1. This program can convert a dozen video formats and allow you to open them in different programs.
If you are looking to put your downloaded movie onto your Ipod and PSP then you will need a converter for that as well. Having a multifaceted converter can really save you a lot of time in effort when trying to watch a movie. If you find a good converter, familiarize yourself with it because it should be all you need.
Like Blockbuster, Amazon has the most recent films to be released. If you are unsure about a film, you can watch a preview of any movie on the site. You can also read the synopses and the reviews of the movie.
The quality of the film is unmatchable by any other online method of watching a film. The movie is clear enough to make it seem as if you are watching it from your television. It is good for the people who hate fuzziness and poor sound quality of streaming videos.
There a couple cons when you deal with streaming movies. With a large file streaming to your computer; the files tend to be poorer quality then that of a DVD or downloaded movie. That is fine if that does not bother you but if you are a person who loves detail, then you might get annoyed by streaming files.
Amazon also has weekend rentals. Instead of staying on your computer for one day, the movie will stay on from Saturday to late Sunday night. This will allow you to watch the movie a couple times or let other people from your family watch it.
If your objective is to create a DVD burning studio then you now have the know-how. Remember to try and not do anything illegal and stay within copy write infringement laws.
