Try These Simple Astral Projection Techniques

While there may be a number of different astral projection techniques which people can use in order to help them achieve success, one should bear in mind that because everyone is different, what works for one may not necessarily work for another. Interestingly enough, many people encounter problems with certain methods although for the most part, this is not because of the method they choose to use, but rather because they are unable to relax.

One thing you need to bear in mind right from the very beginning, is that total relaxation is essential, irrespective of which technique you choose to use. Unfortunately, because there are still many misconceptions regarding astral projection, many newcomers experience a certain degree of fear and this in itself prevents them from being able to relax. Contrary to what you may have heard, one cannot be harmed and neither can you die from astral projection. In fact, the Canterbury institute even went as far as doing some research involving 2,000 people, in order to squash such fears.

With 2,000 participants, all of whom participated in astral projection, the Canterbury institute determined that not even one person suffered any harm. Furthermore, all participants were then monitored for a period of three years and during this time none of them came forward with any complaints or reports of problems.

Okay, now that we’ve managed to get rid of some of the fears and concerns, let’s go ahead and take a look at a few techniques. These techniques which are discussed are all relatively easy and have helped many people succeed. The first technique which consists of seven main steps, is known as the ‘Monroe Technique’.

* Relaxing your mind and body is essential. There are of course numerous relaxation techniques which one can use, but the easiest and the most popular one involves deep breathing and the relaxing of your muscles. This requires you to inhale and exhale deeply and also to tense and release your muscles one at a time starting at your toes.

* Reaching the hypnotic state of mind. Essentially, this is a state of mind where your mind and body are right on the brink of going to sleep. Of course, you should not actually fall to sleep and in order to avoid doing so, it is advisable that you use the gazing method. This involves focusing on any object in the room while you lie on your bed. Simply continue staring at the object until such time that your eyes close even though you can still see the object in front of you.

* Once you reach a stage where you can still see the object even though your eyes are closed, you then need to deepen the state you’re in. In order to do this, you should keep your eyes closed and start looking around, taking note of all the things you can see. During this stage it is not uncommon to see various light patterns and a purple glow. However, one shouldn’t pay too much attention to this but instead, one should stay focused until such time that the light disappears. Once you no longer see the light you will have moved into a deeper state of relaxation. By this stage you mind and body is so relaxed that you will more than likely no longer be aware of your physical body.

* The next step, which according to Monroe is vital, requires that you enter a state of vibration. According to the vast majority of people who actively pursue astral projection techniques, these vibrations can usually be felt during the early stages of projection. It is widely accepted that these vibrations are felt at the stage when the astral body starts separating from the physical body. While it is important for you to feel the vibrations, one should under no circumstances be alarmed.

* Controlling your state of vibration. In order to control the vibrations one should focus on moving them through your body. Using your mind, you should attempt to spread these vibrations over your entire body so that it feels as though there are waves washing over you. You need to keep practicing this until such time that you can bring on these waves whenever you choose, and once you are able to do that, you’re ready to leave your physical body.

* It is undeniable that the key to successful astral projection and astral travel lies in having control, in that it’s your mind which has the power. In fact, Monroe actually recommends that you practice partial separation in order to strengthen your level control. While maintaining focus on the concept of leaving your physical body, one should first only allow a hand or foot to separate. When you can do this you should go ahead and attempt to stretch them towards an object nearby, whether you choose the wall, the ceiling, or even a random item in the room. If you manage to do this successfully then you should allow your hand or foot to return to your physical body. Now go ahead and begin slowing down the vibrations in order to bring your session to an end.

* In this last step you will get to separate from your physical body. You can simply follow all the steps already mentioned but this time, instead of only allowing your hand or foot to leave the physical body, you will allow total separation. Apart from a minor adjustment, this is virtually identical to step six. In this case you need to imagine that your body is weightless or that it is made up of feathers and that they are being blown around in the wind. As your astral body starts leaving your physical body you should begin to feel as though you are flying or perhaps floating.

Other methods and techniques include the Anchor Technique, the Gazing Method, and the Rope Technique. Ultimately, one should be willing to try the various techniques in order to establish which one works best for you, because you can be rest assured that everyone can find a technique which works for them.

One should bear in mind that it may not be possible to astral project instantly, irrespective of which technique you use.

Thanks to modern sound technology, those wishing to astral project can now make use of a shortcut. Profession: Obsessive Shopper

I do not know an individual soul who doesn’t like to go shopping. I mean, with all the brand new bags, shoes, clothes and accessories coming out of the market from time to time, it is very unlikely for even a single human being to not hunger for something new that he or she just got to have. I recall exactly how it feels to hunger to shop for the most recent gadgets, the latest leather bags, the latest shoes, the trendiest clothes and a luxurious set of jewelry. All that and so much more. This reminds me of how much girls love to go shopping, even when it’s the last thing they would do before the world comes to an end.

Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermes. The list goes on and on. These are usually the names that girls call upon when they get sick. These usually are comforting and easing and comfort words to them. In numerous adult men I know, they call upon Burberry, Calvin Klein, John Varvatos, Dolce & Gabbana and so much more. There are usually a lot of brands that adult males and most women share too so don’t get confused as you go shopping. A large number of designers have fashion lines suited for both blokes and a lot of women, and all these names are generally answering to 3 of the best when it comes to status symbol. VISA, MasterCard and American Express. I know various others but they did not make it to the list due to fluctuating fame. I’d rather stick with the giants to play it safe.

A lot of women have a tendency to be compulsive shoppers. It is according to experience so don’t lash out on me just yet. A lot of women of all ages go to malls and they are like rats scattering all over the place. They search just about every corner, every single store, and just about every hanger. Leaving no traces of second thoughts in grabbing everything they could get their hands on. Specifically during a season sale. You will notice an ocean of girls raging to the mall entrance, waiting for security to open the mall’s doors, and when they do, it is a great stampede. Similar to a pack of hungry wolves finding their way across of the woods to find their prey. And you better get out of their way if you want to help to make it to your next itinerary safely.

In a cable TV show where a group of individuals helps out families to clean out the major mess issue they’ve at home, there’s this just one episode of a woman who spends so much on shopping, to the point that she has still never have used at least 50% of the things she has acquired. Plus the funny part is, all the things are tossed and piled up in mounds across the living room to the kitchen until the bedroom. That was the first time I ever saw mountain ranges of clothes, bags, shoes, scarves, hats and undies, all in just one big pile.

These different kinds of obsessive shoppers could actually feed a whole community for months, even if they sold each item at half of its original price. The point I’m trying to get at is that shopping may be fun and at the exact same time, educating. You can easily learn a lot from shopping if you only know how to separate your demands from your wants and I guarantee you, you’ll never have to call for a clean house.

Intention Manifestation Is Becoming A Mainstream Notion

Since the release of “The Secret, ” the idea that we create our own dreams through the power of intention manifestation has reached a broader range of people. Once an “out there” idea, it is now a common topic of discussion, as people discover their curiosity about the mysteries of our own subconscious minds. Being responsible for what happens in our lives is becoming a more popular concept.

Maybe our subconscious mind is playing a larger role in our reality than we once believed. Not everyone defines happiness and success in the same way, but to achieve it, there seems to be a common thread of attitude and of feeding the subconscious mind with positive thoughts.

For others, happiness and success as they define it remains out of reach. What is the missing element? It seems there must be more to achieving one’s desires than sitting on the couch daydreaming. If it were that simple, we’d all be living the high life. So what is the secret?

It’s possible that attaining dreams is out of reach for reasons we cannot see: karma, destiny, the journey of the soul. Maybe the key lies in learning to tap into one’s intuition, to take action based on that quiet inner voice. Maybe the key is in developing a positive attitude, even in the face of adversity. Maybe there is no key, and we’re searching for something that doesn’t exist.

Whatever the trick, mastering the art of intention manifestation is an appealing goal. Even if it teaches us nothing more than to feel better about life under any circumstance, that is a positive thing.
